Office Hours · Academic Support

Your questions are welcome. Let’s work through them together.

A dedicated space for undergraduate students to ask about courses, assignments, study planning, midwifery concepts, clinical learning, and academic registration. You do not need to have a “perfect” question before you come.

What can we talk about?

  • 📚 Courses & modulesClarify lectures, concepts, terminology, learning outcomes and study priorities.
  • 🩺 Midwifery & clinical learningConnect theory with clinical practice and discuss areas you find difficult.
  • 📝 Assignments & assessmentsDiscuss expectations, structure, academic writing, preparation and how to approach your work.
  • 🎓 Academic advisingTalk through your study plan, registration choices and questions about adding or dropping courses.
  • 💬 “I’m not sure what I need”That is completely okay. We can start from there.
A quick note: Office hours are for guidance and academic support. For formal registration actions, deadlines and exceptions, always follow the official KSU portal and current Deanship of Admission and Registration instructions.

KSU undergraduate registration — quick guide

➕ Add a course

Adding is subject to the designated registration period and requirements such as available seats, no timetable conflict, appropriate prerequisites, and the approved study plan.

➖ Drop a course

Course deletion is subject to the registration period and minimum study-load requirements. A co-requisite course may need to be dropped together with its linked course.

↩️ Withdraw from a course

Under the current undergraduate regulations, a term-based student may withdraw from up to two courses in a term, subject to the stated deadline and other conditions. A “W” is recorded and is not treated as a failing grade.

🗓️ Withdraw from a semester

A student may request withdrawal from a term subject to an acceptable excuse and the regulation’s deadlines and limits. The request is submitted through the electronic process.

Policy information is a student-friendly summary of KSU undergraduate regulations and should not replace the official regulation, academic calendar or Deanship instructions.
